What is the difference between tm and regular massage?

A Thai Massage may be tailored to suit almost any ones needs. Before a Thai Massage it is, however, important that you give accurate information concerning any health conditions in order that the appropriate techniques may be used.
How do I make the most of my Thai Massage?
Breathing deeply and slowly from your diaphragm allows you to relax more fully during your Thai Massage. To gain the most benefit it is best to exhale during a stretch or upon application of pressure and inhale on release of the stretch or pressure. It is important to drink extra non-caffeinated liquid after a Thai massage to aid in the removal of toxins released during the massage.
How long are the massages?
Sessions may last for 1 – 3 hours depending on a persons physical requirements and time allowances.
Why are they so long?
Thai Massage focuses on the entire body, including energy flow in the body, from the tips of the toes to the tips of the fingers. Pressure is provided with the fingers, palms, thumbs, elbows, forearms, fists, and feet as the body is gently guided through a series of stretches.
For maximum results it is best to warm up each area with softer pressure and gradually increase in intensity. For most the concept of time is shortened. An hour seems like a half hour. Two seems like one.
A two-hour massage allows for a more comprehensive full body massage. While an hour-long massage may not be as comprehensive, the massage can be tailored to suite the needs of the recipient.
