ACRYLIC AND FIBERGLASS REPAIR

The “Classic” Repair
Similar to auto body repair. Fiberglass backing and fillers are used to repair the damaged area, followed by spraying and blending a high gloss synthetic coating, to approach the original look and finish. This is useful on large, or badly placed repairs, or where aesthetics are paramount.

The “Spot” Repair
We use a one-stage “paste” filler, applied by spatula, cured and polished, and which blends well with the original color and finish. Our formula has proven useful and very practical, for small chips and other surface blemishes on acrylic fixtures.

Polishing
AcrylIc and fiberglass surfaces are generally thick enough such that minor surface scratches, scuff marks, cigarette burns, and the like, can usually be sanded out and polished up to a new, high gloss finish comparable to the original.
