Services & Fees

Every effort is made to keep our fees as low as possible. Adopting through the Humane Society can save you 50% or more on basic medical services.

Here is what you get for the small $75.00 fee. (Slightly higher fee may be required for large breed dogs, or “special cases”)

Cats & Kittens

All three kitten shots (two for adults)

Vaccinations are SmithKline Beecham, they include, Distemper, Rhinotracheitis,
Calicivirus (these are the same shots most veterinarians use)
Vaccination schedule is as follows:

 8 weeks
 12 weeks
 16 weeks

Leukemia screening for all cats 3 months & older
Leukemia & Feline Aids screen for all male cats 6 months & older

Spay or Neuter at six months, if adult is adopted spay or neuter immediately

Annual or semi-annual vaccination at your expense, consult your local veterinarian.

Dogs & Puppies

All three puppy shots (two for adults)
Vaccinations are SmithKline Beecham, they include, Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvo Virus, & (Lepto for adults & older puppies). (these are the same shots most veterinarians use, Vanguard 5)

Vaccination schedule is as follows:

 8 weeks
 12 weeks
 16 weeks

Spay or Neuter at six months, if adult is adopted spay & neuter immediately.

Annual or semi-annual vaccination at your expense, consult your local veterinarian. Rabies at owners expense, vaccinate according to local ordinance.

All animals can be adopted locally. Bannock Humane Society will NOT ship pets for any reason. If you are not local and want to adopt one of our wonderful pets, please come visit us in person.
