BANNOCK HUMANE SOCIETY
Bannock Humane Society is a small volunteer organization. We now have our permanent Location up and running located at 850 Barton RD. (just NE of Farm Bureau). In 1998 we adopted more than 239 pets into good permanent homes. This is all the more amazing when you consider all pets are "fostered" in the homes of volunteers. Pets adopted through the Humane Society are all abandoned, abused, or just plain neglected. We hold adoption days the first Saturday of each month in our building from 12-4 p.m. Pets are all brought to this "Show and Tell" so you can meet your new pet. We also have information available on animal issues and experienced people who can help with general animal questions. Although donations are always gratefully accepted, we hold two major fund raising events each year. One is a "Pet Fair in the Park". We have a raffle, garage sale, food sales, and of course pets for adoption. Clergy from several local churches come and offer a "blessing" for all the homeless animals. We also encourage you to bring your pet to be blessed.
We have a quarterly newsletter that is sent to those who donate, or who request a copy. ![]() ![]() Services & Fees | Articles | Animal Tips | Animal Cruelty | Sponsors | Cyberstore | Links |
